What bring EcothTech?
Ecothtech is a vision that came into being after many years of experience and encounters with different diseases conditions affecting humans. Over the decades, traditional medicine profession has suffered neglect from the handlers of state apparatus.
Yet, some of these government agencies take advantage of the naivety of some traditional medicine practitioners. As a son of a staunch traditional medicine practitioner, the passion for helping humanity through a refined traditional medicine method has always been in mind.
There have been various policies on healthcare services aimed at the development traditional medicine practice but none of them has ever been implemented.
Consequently, every effort that is needed for public enlightenment and acceptability of tradition medicine in modern and globally acknowledged healthcare system has been solely left in the hands of its practitioners.
This is the essence of mobilising all our energy and enthusiasm to do something innovative and encouraging.
This institution will serve as a model college in Nigeria, Africa, and the rest of the world. It is designed as a platform where genuine traditional medicine training will be taught.
It will also serve as archives for documents and related literature for training and educative materials for the existing practitioners and the would-be practitioners.
We are committed to producing safe and modernised traditional medicine.
We will establish model traditional medicine hospital, bookshop, raw materials setting centre, production plant designed to produce well-grounded entrepreneurs who would contribute to the socio-economic development of the society.
We are focusing on training and producing traditional medicine practitioners of various categories who will understand disease conditions, prescribe modern appropriate tests, make use of modern tools and equipment, handle test results and interpret accordingly and make referral appropriately.
We will engage existing practitioners, using different approaches. While the expertise of such practitioners will be appreciated and acknowledged, remuneration packages will also be provided as appropriate. This is our vision!
